Events

The following events will be held during the PAA 2012 Annual Meeting.

Wednesday, May 2

Census and ACS in the Classroom — 1:30-5:00 p.m. • $30 – select this event during registration process.

Welcome Mixer — 8:30-11:00 p.m. Admittance and a beverage ticket are included in the registration fee.

Thursday, May 3

Career Mentoring Luncheon — 12:30-2:00 p.m. • $20 – select this event during registration process, and complete the registration form (PDF) Word

Membership Meeting — 5:30-6:30 p.m. Members are encouraged to present matters of general concern to PAA. Items for the agenda should be sent to the Secretary-Treasurer c/o the PAA office, by April 5.

Memorial Service — 8:30-10:00 p.m. If you know of PAA members who have died since the 2011 Annual Meeting, please notify Elizabeth Thomson, elizabeth.thomson@sociology.su.se.

Friday, May 4

Applied Demography Breakfast — 7:00-8:20 a.m. • regular fee $43 ; $15 for students - select this event during registration process.

Alumni Night Event — 9:00-12:00 p.m.  Don’t miss this year’s Alumni Night event on Friday.  We will have the usual cash bar and tables for each institution, and will serve a light dessert.  We will again have an “unplugged” Alumni Night without a band.This will be a great opportunity to stop by after dinner to network and catch up with former colleagues, teachers, and students.  If your institution would like to reserve a table, please email stephanie@popassoc.org, by March 30.
