Hispanic Research Virtual Mentoring Event

The National Research Center on Hispanic Children and Families and PAA are pleased to announce a free pre-conference Hispanic Research Virtual Mentoring Event leading up to the 2021 PAA conference.

The Virtual Mentoring Event will be held on April 27 from 12:00PM-1:00PM Eastern. The event is designed to facilitate relationships between mentees (students & new professionals) and mentors (leaders in the field) studying Hispanics and/or racial and ethnic equity. Mentors and mentees will be assigned to groups based on topical interest and will have ample opportunity to speak with both their peers and the mentors. Discussion will be informal, and topics may include those related to studying Hispanic families and children, equity issues in population studies, and career development more broadly.

Click here to register as a mentee.

If you are interested in serving as a mentor for this event, please complete the mentor registration form.
