Fragile Families Summer Data Workshop

The Columbia Population Research Center (CPRC) is accepting applications for the Fragile Families Summer Data Workshop to be held in-person (virtual attendance is available) June 21-24, 2022. Travel and hotel costs will be covered for successful applicants*. This workshop is designed to familiarize early career scholars in the social sciences, health sciences, and humanities with the data available in the Fragile Families and Child Wellbeing Study.

The Summer Data Workshop targets early-career scholars from social science disciplines, and social science-adjacent fields in the humanities and health sciences. We particularly encourage applications from postdoctoral fellows and junior faculty, who are often at a turning point in their research trajectories, and may be interested in expanding their research agendas to incorporate work with the FFCWS. Underrepresented scholars are strongly encouraged to apply. Successful applicants must possess the basic quantitative skills required for the analysis of survey data. About 25-30 applicants will be selected.

Applicants may apply here (link is external).

The application deadline is Friday, March 18th. Travel support will be available for accepted out-of-town candidates. For more information about the workshop, including application details, visit ffworkshop.columbia.edu (link is external).
