Registration rates

Rate Details

There are three base registration rates:

  • Student: This rate is available to anyone who is currently an enrolled, full-time student. To access the student membership and rates, the Primary Field of Employment (third field from the bottom) needs to be set to Student.
  • Low/Middle Income Country (LMIC): This rate is available to anyone who currently resides in a country designated as low- or middle-income by the World Bank (see if your country is eligible) AND is affiliated with an institution in a country classified as low or middle income.  The country listed in your profile must be designated as a low- or middle-income country. (See list of countries.)
  • Regular: If you do not qualify for the student or LMIC rate, you should register at the regular rate.

LMIC Note

Our LMIC membership and registration rates are for Low-income and Middle-income economy countries. Upper-middle-income countries need to pay the Regular rate. PAA goes by this World Bank list. If you are registered at the wrong rate, we will contact you.

Government Funding Challenges

PAA would like to facilitate engagement by PAA members affected by recent layoffs and funding disruptions. If you are a current or past member of PAA and have recently lost your job, please fill out this form before April 1, 2025. In most cases, we will be able to waive your registration fee for attending the 2025 PAA Annual Meeting.

The support of our members and meeting attendees is vital to the association’s success, and their continued engagement ensures PAA can thrive despite these challenges. If you can, please consider donating your registration fee in support of PAA instead of requesting a refund.
