Workshop Organizer Details
This year, we have a new approach to workshops to expand the opportunity to those who may have funding to host a workshop and would prefer to charge a lower price.
Funded Workshop: A funded workshop has external funding to cover the cost of the workshop, including audio-visual, meeting room rental, wi-fi, workshop presenter travel, etc. PAA will include the workshop as part of the PAA 2025 registration process and handle the logistical arrangements. Workshop registrants will be charged $10/$20 (member/nonmember) for student registrants and $25/$50 (member/nonmember) for all other registrants. We can provide a coupon code for registrants if you'd like to cover the registration cost. PAA will invoice you for the total costs incurred and any complimentary registrations after the meeting.
The workshop organizer will work directly with the hotel, managing their own food, A/V, and shipping needs. In this case, PAA will bill for the $500 room fee and any logistical costs directly managed by PAA (e.g., complimentary registration or additional services). There are NO complimentary meeting registrations included in this type of workshop.
PAA Sponsored Workshop: PAA covers all costs, handles the logistical arrangements, and provides up to two complimentary registrations for workshop presenters. Registrants will be charged as follows:
1/2 Day Workshop

- All Others: $150/$200 (member/nonmember)
Full Day Workshop

- Students $200/$350 (member/nonmember)
- All Others: $300/$450 (member/nonmember)
The registration fee covers all the costs related to hosting the workshop.
