Applied Demography Conference 2024
February 6 - 8, 2024 | Virtual

We are excited to provide applied demographers with a unique opportunity to participate in a conference designed to showcase applied demography, strengthen professional networks, and bring the applied demography community together.  We welcome your submissions for the PAA 2024 Applied Demography Conference.  This conference will be held virtually from February 6 – 8, 2024.  We will accept abstract, session, and workshop submissions.

Why Virtual?

The Applied Demography Conference alternates format each year between in-person and virtual. We hold the conference virtually in the even years to provide an opportunity to those who have barriers to in-person participation, such as limited budgets and long-distance travel.

Registration Information

Registration is now open!  Rates are as follows:

  • Regular Member: $150
  • Regular Nonmember: $200
  • Student Member: $10
  • Student Nonmember: $50

If you are not currently a member, you have the option to purchase a membership and registration bundle to access the member rate.

Registering for ADC 2024

PAA is using a new registration system this year that will make registration painless and easy for you!

  • Go to online.populationassociation.org/paassa
  • Sign in with your username and password.
    • If this is the first time you’ve logged in since July 2023, click FORGOT PASSWORD and follow the prompts to receive your username and reset your password.
  • In the MY EVENTS box, click on the event for which you would like to register.
    • Step 1: Confirm your information and answer a few questions.
      • You may be asked to confirm your email for this registration.
    • Step 2: As a member in good standing, your registration fee is automatically determined for you.  On this screen, you can register for any associated activities like workshops and receptions.
    • Step 3: Review your registration selections, then click CONTINUE
    •  Step 4: Payment
      • Select Payment Option
      • Select Payment Type
      •  Confirm you are human
      • Click submit
    • Step 5: Provide your payment details and complete the transaction.

You will receive receipt and confirmation emails within 24 hours.
