María Vignau Loría

María Vignau Loría is a doctoral student from Mexico City in the Department of Sociology at the University of Washington. She is interested in the intersection of demographic processes, individual behaviors, and institutional contexts. She has done research in international migration, migration and health, ethnoracial health disparities, and ethnic identity in Latin America. Her dissertation project explores immigration enforcement and deportations in the United States.

Aryaa Rajouria is a doctoral student in the Department of Sociology at the University of Washington. Her interests lie in the intersection of environmental and labor migration, population health, and resource distribution in the Global South. Her prior work focuses on immigration, mental health, and global conceptions of race and ethnicity.
