The workshop is aimed both at those with prior demographic training and those who have not studied demography but already have quantitative skills in another area. Advanced graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, and early career researchers and faculty are welcome to apply. We are interested in increasing the diversity of the field and encourage applicants from all backgrounds.
Primary Instructors: Joshua Goldstein (PI), Dennis Feehan (Assistant Professor) and Ayesha Mahmud (Assistant Professor). All three are in the Department of Demography. More information and to apply: https://populationsciences.berkeley.edu/population-center/annual-workshop-on-formal-demography/
