Help PAA Safeguard and Promote High-Quality Population Research

000

In a time when the utility of data is debated and science budgets waver, the Population Association of America (PAA) remains a steadfast home for rigorous, independent research. But PAA needs your help. See all the ways you can give and support our field.

Your donation will allow PAA to:

  • Keep early-career scholars at the table
  • Promote data integrity and reliability
  • Foster innovation, collaboration, and debate among researchers
  • Provide vital career and professional opportunities for members
  • Support graduate students and diversify the pipeline
  • Sustain the conversation between research results and policy-making

The Ways You Can Give

Every donation, large or small, makes a crucial difference.  Please consider donating or setting up an automatic reoccurring gift.  PAA is a 501(c)(3) organization, so your contribution is tax deductible.

Donations can be made in three ways:

PAA Futures Fund

Your gift to the new PAA Futures Fund will ensure that evidence, not ideology guides how we understand the world’s most pressing population issues.

Honor a Colleague

The Honor A Colleague program is a wonderful way to personalize your contribution to the PAA. You, or a group of people, may donate in honor of a colleague, mentor or friend!

When donations reach a total of $7,500, the honoree will have a page on the PAA website with a picture, a brief essay on his or her accomplishments, and a list of the donors who contributed toward the tribute.

Leave a Legacy

Leaving PAA in your will or other estate plans can help to ensure the future of the PAA while offering you some valuable tax benefits. If you have questions, please contact PAA staff.

Language for a bequest is simple. You can incorporate it into a new will or an amendment (codicil) to your existing will. See more.
