The William T. Grant Foundation updated 2024 application guidelines are now online and detail what applicants need to know to develop a strong letter of inquiry for the Foundation's research grants on reducing inequality and improving the use of research evidence.

Research Grants on Reducing Inequality

This program supports research to build, test, or increase understanding of programs, policies, or practices to reduce inequality in the academic, social, behavioral, or economic outcomes of young people ages 5-25 in the United States. We invite studies from a range of disciplines, fields, and methods, and we encourage investigations into various youth-serving systems, including justice, housing, child welfare, mental health, and education.

Research Grants on Improving the Use of Research Evidence

Research grants on improving the use of research evidence fund research studies that advance theory and build empirical knowledge on ways to improve the use of research evidence by policymakers, agency leaders, organizational managers, intermediaries, and other decision-makers that shape youth-serving systems in the United States.

The next deadline to submit a letter of inquiry is January 10, 2024. We hope you will share these opportunities with your network.
