The Action Collaborative on Disaster Research: Symposium on Disaster Data Science

The National Academies Forum on Medical and Public Health Preparedness for Disasters and Emergencies' Action Collaborative on Disaster Research will convene a virtual symposium of government, academic, and clinical stakeholders along with subject matter experts to scope perspectives, information, and scientific needs related to the state of U.S. disaster data science. Speakers will use existent data sources to discuss the state of prevailing disaster science questions, consider how data sources can be leveraged for improved collaboration and scientific inquiry, and explore opportunities to increase access and utilization of these data sources.
