A new analysis by Population Reference Bureau (PRB) shows that while India’s population will soon eclipse China’s, its growth is slowing. In fact, India is on track to become an “aged society” before the mid-century, while the youthful countries of sub-Saharan Africa—often overlooked—will together propel the growth of the global working-age population. This shift has implications for climate change, the global workforce, and the global economy.
Join PRB’s Senior Vice President of International Programs Barbara Seligman and Africa Director Aïssata Fall for an interactive webinar on this historic demographic change.
Presenters: Barbara Seligman, Senior Vice President of International Programs, PRB; Aïssata Fall, Africa Director, PRB
