The 2022 Summer Institute for Survey Research Techniques (SISRT) at the University of Michigan’s Survey Research Center offers high quality, state of the art, and rigorous graduate training in all phases of survey research, as well as in the use of new types of data and methods (web scraping, machine learning, and sensor data) for conducting social research. Courses are held between June 6 and July 29.
The courses are mostly short format, well suited to the busy schedules of graduate students, faculty researchers, and working professionals.
Please review the 2022 course schedule to find courses that may be of interest to you. Most courses are offered remotely via live, two-way video, i.e., synchronously. Instructors are experienced in remote teaching that supports both lectures and group work.
