Letter Urging Congress to Fund Centers for Disease Control in Fiscal Year 2018

03-25-2020 16:54

The undersigned 182 members of the CDC Coalition and other supporting state and national organizations urge you to provide at least $7.8 billion for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s programs in the FY 2018 Labor, Health and Human Services, Education and Related Agencies Appropriations bill. We are deeply disappointed that President Trump’s initial budget proposal recommends an astounding $15.1 billion or nearly 18 percent cut to the Department of Health and Human Service’s budget for FY 2018.
