On May 20, the Population Association of America and Association of Population Centers provided brief comments in response to the National Institutes of Health's proposed Strategic Plan Framework for Fiscal Years 2027-2031. The NIH-Wide Strategic Plan Framework articulates priorities in three areas: biomedical and behavioral science research; scientific research capacity; and scientific research operations. Responses were limited to short submissions using an online form.
