PAA and APC signed the Census Project letter regarding the Fiscal Year 2026 appropriations for the U.S. Census Bureau. The final letter is posted on the Census Project website. The letter requests the final FY 2026 CJS bill provide the Census Bureau with no less than $1.6765 billion—the amount recommended by the House Appropriations Committee and requested by the Administration. And strongly urges that Section 605, a provision in the House bill, be stricken.
