Benefits you receive

To access and read Demography through the PAA website, you must be an active PAA member. Follow these instructions on how to read Demography.
Members receive a weekly e-newsletter to update you on all the activities of the Association, events of professional interest, and employment and funding opportunities. Membership keeps you tuned in to the PAA Affairs blog for association news.
PAA members have access to the online Directory of Members, a searchable database containing names, institutional affiliation and contact information. (Members have the option to be hidden from the directory.)
Fill out your Profile on PAA Engage and start interacting with other members.
Members are encouraged to become active in one of the PAA committees involved with the Annual Meeting, publications, membership, finance, awards, population statistics, international outreach or applied demography. There are various opportunities to help out your fellow demographers during the Annual Meeting and throughout the year.
PAA members receive a free job announcement posting on our Career Center job board.
